Designs by Day creates interiors that are unique to its users and are built around the functionality of each space. No interior can be considered and designed without taking the architectural framework into consideration.
Founder South African interior designer Nicky Goldstone believes that no two interiors ought to be the same, as each individual and project is unique and therefore the interiors should speak this same language.
Designs by Day is involved in all aspects of Interiors, from basic interior fitouts, renovations to complete home builds.
Stage 1 & 2
Our Design team is involved from the conceptual planning stage , be it a new build or a renovation. Our In-House creative design team compile conceptual design schemes and advise on design layouts for all aspects of the design. We accompany this with cost estimates so that you are aware of cost constraints from the outset. Our team works closely with the Architects and other professionals on board to ensure the smooth running of your project.
Stage 3 & 4
& Technical drawings
After our first meeting , we take all of the clients changes and needs into consideration and finalise the design for final implementation. Final layouts are compiled and finishes are confirmed. Orders are placed and site progress commences with our Project management team overseeing the build to ensure all aspects are being implemented according to signed off drawings. All aspects of the design such as Lighting, electrical, shop fitting etc. is compiled by our In house Design team.
Our Design team ensures any revisions and deviations on site are attached to revised plans and communicated to contractors on site during the build / renovation. All manufactured goods are viewed and inspected at factories before site delivery as well as all work inspected on site by our Project management team. Once the structure and wet works are complete, all softs, furniture and final fittings are installed to create your beautiful space.
